Oral Roberts University

 

All First Team engineering, design and fabrication drawings, procedures and methods had to be approved in advance by designated Mabee Center engineering company.

 

  1. Design, engineer and install a four hoist computerized system to raise and lower the 20’ x 12’ scoreboard/video board so that it could be disassembled and moved from the arena for storage during entertainment events.

  3. Design, engineer, custom build and install a four-sided 20’ x 12’ basketball scoreboard using the latest detachable electronics from the video section.
  4.  
  5. Design, engineer, custom build and install four 10mm LED video screens with player stat panels on each sides that attach to the custom basketball scoreboard.
  6.  
  7. Design, engineer and custom build four carts for transporting the eight disassembled scoreboard/video board components to the storage area. Due to a concrete beam leading into the storage area total height of the carts with video board and scoreboard attached could not exceed 7' ¼".

  9. Install four cameras, replay and production switcher with CG and DVR in control room.

  11. Train all video production staff members.

Indiana State University

 

All First Team engineering, design and fabrication drawings, procedures and methods had to be approved in advance by designated Hulman Center engineering company.

 

  1. Design, engineer, build and incorporate into the existing Hulman Center structure a new catwalk system.
  2.  
  3. New catwalk system included two 5-ton remote controlled hoists for raising and lowering the scoreboard/video board.
  4.  
  5. Design and engineer the remote controlled hoisting system including all rigging and wire rope.
  6.  
  7. Design, engineer, custom build and install four 20 V 10mm LED video screens. Each screen had to swing out from the bottom so it could be lowered into its custom cart. Once on the cart, each board could then be moved to any one of eight pre-wired locations in the Hulman Center and used as stand alone video screens.

  9. When the video screens are being used in the stand alone configuration, the scoreboard is either raised to the top of the arena out of the way or it is lowered and placed on four heavy duty custom dollies so it can be winched to the back of the arena away from the event.

  11. First Team provided all equipment, wiring and installation for the Indiana State University SDI video control room. The project required 2 broadcast cameras, a switcher, DVRs for replay, tape playback, character generator, still store and logo generator. The system also includes camera control units for adjustments to each camera’s image remotely from the control room using multi-core camera cable while maintaining an SDI signal.

  13. The control room also features a Final Cut Pro system used to produce client commercial content for the video board. The editing system allows the staff to produce content in-house with an industry standard product that is user friendly while still being capable of producing the highest quality work.

  15. First Team provided training on all video production equipment and LED Video screen operations.

SpiritBank Event Center

 

All First Team engineering, design and fabrication drawings, procedures and methods had to be approved in advance by designated SpiritBank Event Center engineering company.

 

  1. Design, engineer, custom build and install four 10mm LED video screens each 11 feet x 7 feet with backlit signs above.
  2.  
  3. Install 2 scoreboards on each end of the arena.
  4.  
  5. Design and program custom software that passes scoring information from the scoreboard controller to a computer which translates that information into video so that the scoreboard data can be displayed on the four-sided video display and concourse monitors.

  7. Install 3 cameras with 5 possible arena locations, replay and production switcher with CG and DVRs in control room.
  8.  
  9. Install and integrate Final Cut Pro editing system for editing content for events and editing event footage.

  11. Manage staffing for facility events that use the video display.

Tulsa Public Schools

 

Webster High School - Broadcasting and Digital Media Magnet School

(Largest School District in Oklahoma)

 

  1. Consult with TPS about system design and equipment selection.

  3. Studio installation comprised of 3 cameras each with teleprompter, switcher with CG and DVRs, HDV tape players, audio mixer, routers, signal generators, CCUs, and communications.

Broken Arrow Public Schools

 

Broken Arrow is the second largest school district in Oklahoma. They had an existing scoreboard with a message board in the center. First Team removed the message center and installed a new Barco 16’ x 9’ LED video board. First Team purchased all the video equipment and provided all installation and training on related video and Barco LED video board equipment.

 

A very unique service provided to Broken Arrow by First Team was relocating the video board after the football season to a location on a major highway where it was used as an outdoor billboard for the remaining seven months. Broken Arrow was able to secure major long-term sponsors because of the additional seven months of commercial exposure on the outdoor billboard.

 

As part of its agreement with Broken Arrow, First Team also provides all commercial advertising content for the video board. The video board is monitored daily through the intranet and the sponsor’s commercial content is changed once a week.

 

Muskogee Public Schools

 

Muskogee had an older existing scoreboard that needed updating. First Team lowered the scoreboard and added additional steel structure to the top where it placed a new Barco 16’ x 9’ LED video board. First Team purchased all the video equipment and provided all installation and training on related video and Barco LED video board equipment.

 

A very unique service provided to Muskogee by First Team was relocating the video board after the football season to an auto dealership in Muskogee. The dealership, a major sponsor of the video board, is located on the most traveled interior street in Muskogee.

 

As part of its agreement with Muskogee Public Schools, First Team also provides all of the commercial advertising content for the video board. The video board is monitored daily through the intranet and the sponsor’s commercial content is changed once a week.
